Choosing Happy
I am experiencing a whole new world this semester. Married life of four months has been a dream, but any transition is hard, and this one isn't any different. In light of this week's (mostly school related) difficulties, I've decided what I want my year to look like. Even though this will be the hardest academic time of my college career, I don't want to remember these moments as anything but sweet. Stress and anxiety aside, I want to remember the excitement of the first chapter of my life with my husband. I want to enjoy, and laugh, and love, and breathe, and live like I'm living in the best years of my life. Because let's be honest, I am!

I like this picture. A lot. And I like this blog. A lot. And I like you. A lot.

ReplyDeleteI agree:) Married life is the BEST, but is also a transition that can sometimes be tough. Thanks for your post! I need to remember to just breathe and set aside stress and the other things going on around me at times as well. It will be awesome to look back and remember the year as the best time of your life!
ReplyDeleteWay to go Shelby. I totally believe that happiness is a choice, and making the choice to be happy now will help you continue to be happy even when things get tough. Take time to just enjoy life, even when you feel like you're too busy for a break. The important stuff always ends up okay in the end anyway right.
